To prevent this problem, STIHL has developed a high quality anti-vibration system. This eliminates the cleaning intervals of the foam filter. Manual fuel pump With the manual fuel pump, fuel is fed to the carburetor at the touch of a thumb. This reduces the number of starter pulls after a long period of machine immobilization. Water connector Through the water connector with spray system, the cutting disc is wetted with water that binds only the dust and is created during the cutting. It is mounted on the machine in such a way that it does not interfere with operation. ElastoStart System When pulling the starter rope on two-stroke engines, the compression pressure creates abrupt power fluctuations that strain the muscles and joints. The ElastoStart system significantly reduces these effects. A special shock absorber inside the starter handle is stretched according to the pulling force, eliminating the sharp force peaks and thus smoothing the starting process.
